First off, Rick is about as red-blooded an American as they come. Daniel definitely counts as well. We're bringing a few other Seattleites as well, including the Mighty Mike O'Connor - worth four men or sixteen gamers.

I didn't say Rick wasn't, just that I didn't think he counted as west of the Mississip. Actually, I find Rick to be a (mostly) calm and thoughtful gentleman - a true pleasure to be with. Not that the rest of you aren't, just that I don't know you as well. :-)

And I'm so glad to hear that more of the Seattleites are coming. I haven't seem them since the Victoria con. Still remember with immense fondness the trip out to Mount St Helens. Does that include Neil? (He's our fifth column.)

I wouldn't count on all the Brits staying on your side - I'm pretty sure with judicious use of beer, Chris, Dan and I can get most of them. Same with the Germans - at least the English-speaking ones. :) Jeff

Oh, well, if you're going to resort to bribery instead of principles... Two can play at that game. And we'll be there in time to bring up wine, too. More alcohol, therefore a better bribe. I do grant you safety in numbers, so you should be able to spread the cost around more. However, all told, a truly pitiful plot to suborn people by blitzing them out of their minds, so that they don't know the obvious right side.

Besides which, we've already settled that you, too, are all pinko commie liberals, so why don't we all just enjoy the booze and burritos together?   Alison
