     I remember a great anecdote about an escaped WWII German POW who was shot and killed by some granny up in the hills. When she was told that she was a brave woman for having shot one of the enemy, she started crying. The sheriff asked her why she was so upset, and she said, "I'd never have shot that poor boy if I'd known he was German. I thought he was a damn Yankee."

     And you guys think the Civil War is over.
