To be honest... it generally isn't. I just hope Jeff managed to catch it, and appreciate firsthand the downfall of European culture.

Well, I'm led to believe we're not allowed to bring any booze. But in a hypothetical, parallel universe where we were, I would probably be bringing a bottle of Sri Lankan arrack, several hipflasks full of different Scotch for pit-stops, maybe a bottle aswell, and...
You know, I've just been reminded of rugby club drinks. There was the Green Monster (1/2 pint Castaway, 1/2 pint Diamond White -- looked like something out of Reanimator) and, my favourite, the Special Brew and Hooch shandy. I well recommend that. I had a few pints of that before a gig once. I was so battered I could hardly stand, nevermind play.
Sadly my trip to Payottenland (lambic & gueuze country) comes after the con.
