Different games are good for different styles of play. Anyone that says 'RQ (or HQ) is clearly better' is really just saying 'the style of game I play is the only one that matters'. Most people who favour RQ say this from ignorance, being grognards unfamiliar with modern styles of play. Most people who favour HQ say this from arrogance, assuming that they style of play they like is clearly superior.

Personally, I reckon D20 Glorantha would work quite well for some styles of play, and be more fun than anyone cares to admit.
