The "logic" went along the lines of:
- Someone wanted to create a persona to vent all their anger and
created "Boaty" Boatright.
- So, they could be really offensive on all the lists and still
retain credibility in their secret identity.
- After all, nobody could be as offensive as Boaty, it's just not
possible.
The argument fell down somewhat when I pointed out that I'd met said Mr Boatright a couple of times at conventions aeons ago, but thinking about it, perhaps I didn't.
Was the person I met actually the invented persona and not the Secret Identity?
Did I just imagine meeting him at Conjunction of a Million Spheres or Conjunction of a Trillion Tentacles 1 or somewhere else?
Are there, and this is perhaps the scariest answer, two David Boatrights who play RQ?
Answers of a postcard top anyone but me.
See Ya
Simon
