Why are people so annoyed about Kallyr's presentation? You'll have a lot more fun if the characters run by the players are the ones that are the movers and shakers in the game. Most players are so sodding warped that they'll create their own sense of moral ambiguity.

Make your player characters end up in the positions normally occupied by Minaryth, Kallyr, Blackmoor, Rockbuster and all the other canonerati. Watch them fuck it up or do better in different areas than the "scripted protagonists."

So, don't let your players be the viewers of someone else's crap fantasy, let them write their own crap fantasy - everyone has more fun that way.
