I use David's work in my games all the time...

Vehicle dispatching - arranging to get enough mounts for my raiding party Online ordering - the mechanism for working out which clan to raid Sales order processing - working out the best rates to get on my 'acquired' cattle

My company sells a lot of clan and tribal operations and management software. You can track your cattle loans, budget resources, reserve time for holidays and even track that all your initiates are attending enough rituals to keep up their '10% of time and resources' requirements.
