When it is enforced, yes. When it interferes with discussion, as it does, all too often, on the official lists, then yes.
OK. some parts of my last post were stress-motivated, for which, sorry. There is no reason why you shouldn't ask people to be more courteous, but please don't expect me to enforce it if it is not provided for you.
