I feel the names could have been made far more palatable by presenting them as local subcults (at least for the Talastings) rather than the approach Jeff did take. It's a fine line but the approach should be on grabbing attention and cool stuff rather than demonstrate literary prowess by rehashing known myths.

For example what is about Embaktavar that makes him different from other Humakt? I see that his name contains the form Tavar which implies that he is a bull of some sort. Yet this is nowhere mentioned in his cult nor are we told what he can do that other humakti can't. Contrast this with Storm Tribe in the same number of words, we are told that Hu cultists fight with swords, Kargan fight with all weapons and so forth.

Another detail I would feel would go down well is some cultural continuity with prior material. For all the new names and information about Talastar we are given, there's nothing about the sword Ironbreaker or the cult of Tarumath.
