To answer my own question, since I managed to get a
bit of playing in at lunch I ran a couple of
non-keeper turns to set myself up for an extra trade
route, established it, and followed it....off the edge
of the map! They are somewhere beyond the
north-western part of the map. Norther Tarsh? Or
somewhere with an even less promising future.......?
