Annoying CragSpider

Regarding the possibility of losing by sufficiently annoying the Beastmen, There may be a way to do this with trolls too.

In my last game I had a long record of trouncing troll raids. I had also used "Summons of Evil" 2-4 times to call them over for additional trouncing. Gotta love that Earthblood blessing...

So some trollkin come along and warn me that Cragspider wants me to lay off persecuting to trolls or she'll be irked with me.

I didn't want to be wimpy towards my ancestral enemies, but I didn't want to fight CragSpider either. So I chose a middle course of waffling. I stopped doing "Summons of Evil", but I did keep stomping any troll raid.

Trollkin delegations came along every few years for the rest of the game, as did troll raids, but nothing more than that.

It seemed a little unfair of CS to keep complaining when all I was doing was defending against raids, but I don't don't suppose fairness to non-trolls is one of her priorities...

As the warnings continued I shifted from trying to kill raiding trolls to trying to drive them off, and from charging to skirmishing.

Though by this time, given the depletion of troll numbers and the military machine I'd built, troll casualities remained substantial.

I also tried freeing trollkin delegates without noticable effect.

Now I'm wondering if I go back to a saved game and hammer on the trolls will I lose to a troll army.
