How do you have your crafters output assigned? You generate less revenue from normal crafter output, and more from specialty items like gemstones, iron, or whatever else you have found on your tula. Also, assign as much magic as you can in the sacred time to trading--it not only increases the number of trade routes you can support, it makes your crafts and market more profitable.

Mind you, if you have a revenue of 150 goods a year from crafters and markets, you are bringing in a lot of goods--maybe you need to cut back on the outflow? Do you really need all of those temples? Also, are you giving a lot of gifts in the way of trade goods? A very useful tactic is to make sure you produce an excess of food most years (various blessing, the Ernalda heroquest, wise crop management) and then you can both gift with food, and trade for food.

Also, how are your horse herds? If you get good at fighting the horse nomads, you may capture large amounts of horses, that you can also use for gifts and trades.

Finally, there are a few events and treasures that can improve the productivity of your crafters, or lower various costs. The events you have to wait for, of course, but the treasures you can look to see if you can trade for. Also look over your treasures, sometimes there is one or two that you really don't need, and you can trade for either other treasures or for a one-time shot of trade goods.

Of course, violence is always an option...... (and speaking of which, make sure your fortifications are strong, so that you don't lose too much in the way of trade goods)

I hope this helps a bit.
