As far as I recall, he said outright that the size of
your temple didn't matter. I don't think he said
anything about sacrifices.

I'm guessing that everyone's population is going up,
and they are all finding it hard to keep their herds
as big as they would like. Furthermore, as they get
more settled in other regards, they need other things
less, so are generally less willing to trade? Just a
theory. I agree though, that it *is* annoying--even
the clan that is known for the size of its herds says
it needs all of its cows!

In my last game we went the whole game without an
Uraldan--40 years. Ugh.
