Life! I didn't join a dead mailing list after all!

I'd love for a KoDP2 to be written, but I remember reading that KoDP hasn't been a financial success. How about this idea to reduce costs - distribute it via the net only? I certainly don't mind downloading a few hundred meg for a game of this quality and I'd still be willing to pay what I paid for KoDP. Also a shareware style scheme where the game plays in demo mode until it is 'unlocked' with a valid registration would allow magazines to put it on their Cover CDs for people with slower connections.

Just an idea. Oh and if KoDP 2 has a possibility of actually happening then I'm sure people would love to pre-order now if it'll help guarantee it happen. :-)

<some cool feature ideas snipped>

Am I the only one who things that the Hero Quests are too random? Most of the quests I could solve by learning the lore and making sure conditions were favourable. But one or two just would not let me solve them. No matter what I did I'd fail and I tried everything.

If a player is quite positive that they're doing everything right, have learnt the lore, read through the relevant legend and possible failed and learnt from their mistakes previously they SHOULD have a really good chance of succeeded at the HQ. To not succeed time and time again is quite annoying.

Minor things I'd add to the game/things I consider bugs:

Actually there is a whole host of things I could wish for in KoDP2 but I'll save the rest for when I know the game is going to be written.

Now to get back to working out why my warriors keep insisting they want to see the clan split into two...
