I used to crash at Heroquests until I installed Mostalsoft!

It seems to still be selling, though. It's more of a "sleeper" than a blockbuster. Having to self-publish hurt sales, though.

Any news on this, David? Is KoDP near the "break-even" point?

There's a random element in whether you succeed at a "station" or not.

But, if you get the Magnet of Mostal by trading with the dwarfs, then this randomness seems to be reduced. Strange that a treasure from souless atheists helps you in your most sacred rituals for calling on the gods.

Having a strong godi questing also helps. I used to always fail at the Elmal HQ. Then I got a heroic combat/renowned magic Elmali, who could just stroll through the quest every year. Having the magnet of Mostal meant I rarely, if ever, failed.

So get your Lhankor Mhy worshippers bogeying to the "To find the truth" funky beat, and pump up your noble's characteristics. I think that's almost as important as pumping up your Issaries traders.
