I've used the attitude version when preparing to form a tribe, to see where I should focus my efforts at improving relations. I've also used it to monitor attitudes within the tribe (especially once I've won the kingship). In that latter case, it would be more useful if it also told me what they think about the tribe.

I've used the strength version when I'm considering letting a feud develop or get worse.
