Sadly, you don't. I think even Dave would admit that
the whole sheep thing just doesn't seem to feel quite
right in KoDP, and this is one of the problems. If
you need them, you should be able to do something
about the situation when you are running short. I'm
sure that, given a chance, your clan would be happy to
go and trade for enough to build the herd back up.
As it is, eventually you hit about zero, and you'll
get notification once in a while that your trader has
bought sheep. Just make sure to always allow some
extra goods around sacred time. The good news is that
even at a bad price, 100 sheep don't cost all that
much.
The other good news is that you won't need as much
pasture land!
*thinking* Dave was mentioning that he could add a new
event in one of the updates, maybe we could come up
with a sheep related one?
