KoDP XP

After working like mad holding 3 jobs just to earn a better living, I finally have time to breath easy and bought myself a computer.. hmm life goes on, time waits for no man (or woman =).. the era of Windows XP. It seems so long ago I was still ahead of technology with my sweet 98SE.

Anyway, the 1st thing I did was taking out my beloved KoDP and installed it at once, hmm nothing's wrong. Aha, the familiar rune icon at my desktop. I clicked it with almost bursting joy, hoping to savour the catchy music.. but.. but..

For 2 weeks I was in constant discussion with quite a few folks from my office and workshop, but most just told me to give up on an ole outdated dinosaur game. But when you love something so much as it has became an obsession, then the saying "where there is a will, there is a way" stands true..

Took me quite some time to find ways to make myself connected to the net and search for a better advice from folks who knows best, unlike the barbaric wasteland I was stucked in.. and finally it pays off with me currently accessing the net using a CDMA wap network. Unforgiveably slow with a torturous 500bytes d/l but at least it offers 2.56kb browsing mode which has enabled me to filter out the correct solution..

..which was VERY simple, hehe. "Just" right-click on the icon and choose compatibility on the properties and VOILA! you're back to Win98 mode! (I still cursing myself for being so silly =)

There goes another simple story about KoDP craziness, glad to know that more and more hatchlings are curious about this game and hopes they got the addiction too. Beware of the virus spreading, broo!

Waawi Watapo,

hmm wait a minute,

naah I follows Lhankor Mhy, or was it Issaries? bah.. I just love them all and been all at least once!
