I've recently upgraded my laptop to a 14 inch iBook G4
(I previously had a lime green clamshell), with OS
10.3.2, 640 mg ram, etc., and I tried to load my old
KoDP game in classic. On my previous computer I had
been restarting into OS 9 since the game seemed to be
a bit more stable that way (instead of running through
classic), but with 10.3 that's not possible. I
eventually gave up on it since scenes were taking
anywhere between 5 seconds and 5 minutes to load,
including just clicking a ring member for advice. I'm
hoping to finish the game I was playing on my old
laptop as soon as possible, so I can get rid of it,
and just play KoDP on PC, at the point where I'm
trying to unite all the tribes. Anyway, I digress. Has
anyone had similar speed problems? It's a real
headache.
