David, I thank you very much for your patience and your detailed explaination of the gamedesign's intention

I am an avid gamer, which mean, if there's a way of playing that's more convenient or easy I will choose that way, damned what anyone say (no cheat though, it's boring). Playing big clan, like I had said, is a pain in the ass. But it beats playing small clan in so many ways so I play that way.

IF you really want to encourage players to play small/medium, I suggest an upping frequency of "Malia strike you down with sickness" type of event, as well as "your neigbour cattle raid you", or "Undead/Chaos attack". There's a logic to that kind of events, and it will make the life of a big clan so difficult I and we will have to content with small. I assure you, fighting off cattle raid many times a season will do that to a guy's sense of fun (not even blood for fertilizer and more chance for your nobles to get killed or injured). A text box explain the upping of frequency is nice but not necessary

Like I said, playing big clan is hard and difficult. But the tradeoff is worth the annoyance. the warm and fuzzy feelings of Looking at big population, the herds of cattles, horses, sheeps in Sacred Time summary, is one.

I understand that you may not have the time or energy to do the kind of fixes to discourage us from playing big clan. However, as long as playing big makes more senses and more fun than playing small, I will choose big, damn what Glorantha history said. Hope you all understand.

YO!!!
If this way works, Why should I choose others.
