I'm pretty much with everyone else on this:  I've played with attack fortifications, and found it not worth my time....although if it doesn't present much load to the game, maybe it is good to give people that option?

As for sieze the land, I view it as pretty much a necessity.  If the clan is to grow to anywhere close to a 1000 people, have enough crop land to feed us all well, have enough pasture to support rich herds, and still support a good number of hunters.....you can't do it on a starting tula, even the largest size.  It has been a while, but IIRC I usually end up on around 150 hides of each crop land and pasture, and still want another hundred or so for hunters.

Plus, as people have said, when you've driven a feud to the point of ridiculousness, it is kind of nice to just kick them far away.

Story wise, I'd be inclined to maybe see sieze their land as only an option when feuding?

Siezing their land is hard, which is appropriate.  As someone said, you tend to build up to it, but it still doesn't always work.

I do use the other options pretty regularly (well, once I get Thunderstone and the Odayla accuracy blessing, most of the time I use 'kill lots of them' and skirmish, as that particular combo seems to work particularly well).
