Re: Sacred Time Magic

The only time I put magic into Children is if the omens show that children born that year will have great destinies.

I always max any category I put points into, if at all possible.

My top priorities are Destiny and Heroism, in that order, when available.

After that, my top priority is always Health. Doing anything else is counterproductive; we get too many sick and wounded.

Next priority is Quests, but only (of course) when I'm planning on doing a Heroquest that year.

In the early game, the next thing I max is Mysteries. I stop putting magic into that after we've learned most of the mysteries.

If I have any magic left, the next thing I put it into is War, if I have any war points (I usually play a Peace Clan, so often don't.)

After that, next thing to max is Hunting. It returns an amazing amount of food for a little magic, especially in the early game.

After that, Diplomacy, unless we're starving, in which case I'll skip Diplomacy and put my magic into herds or crops. It helps a lot with resolving disputes.

After that, Herds. After *that*, Crops. I may put Crops over Herds in response to omens.

I only put magic into Trade when my tribal chief worships Issaries, or  when we have so much magic we don't know what else to do with it.
