Done. I've redone the entire table, expanding the unit categories and also the time periods. It's also in Excel now, cause I can't add up. :)

Hmmmm. Humakti don't seem a particularly patriotic lot, do they? I guess if they come freely, they'll come for death and glory, not for Sartar.

Broyan's been engaged in civil war for several years now, which suggests

  1. he probably has been using mercenaries for some time, and
  2. the treasury's not too flush.

Historically, kings in this position often use the promise of land as their financial incentive - specifically, the lands of the dogs who've turned traitor against them. Bit of risk, when you're being asked to face off the Lunar Empire. :) Would your humakti take it?

Or are the Volsaxi loyalists taxing the cottars and raiding their enemies for loot?
