Checking an unpublished draft of Thunder Rebels (always an iffy business), I
find that Hardrad's revolt is thought to be a century or so after Andrin
making
his revolt occur around 1400s - which means the Volsaxar Confederation
was formed before the Volsaxi Tribe (before 1560 or so), which is strange.
DP: LoT rescues this state of affairs somewhat by pointing out that Volsax was a famous dawn age chief.
>I imagined that hargrand rebelled aganst Andrin and took the Larnsti with him.
But the Larnsti didn't rebel against Andrin and they are absent in
Hargrand's (admittedly all too brief) description. Furthermore the
traditional
Larnsti Kings were themselves Larnsti (Glorantha: Intro p142) whereas
Broyan is an ultratraditionalist Vingkotling (Thunder Rebels p6). For this
reason I don't believe that Broyan is allied with the Larnsti as a whole but
with some Larnsti.
