This is *exactly* what Chris Gidlow and I intended them to be for, when I wrote the cult of Yanafal Tarnils (Tales #17) and he wrote "Tarsh War" (1997). The idea that Vexillae don't work equally well for *any* kind of unit serving in the Lunar Army -- even including allies like the Char-Un or Sables! -- would be IMO quite wrong. For what that's worth.
