Sestarto as a proto-Larnsti:

Nope. I first encountered the name Sestarto in Shannon Appel's History of the Kingdom of Night. I think Shannon used lots of Greggly info for that history, though.

Actually, I have some problem with Sestarto and Panaxles active after the Dawn, but have swallowed that down yet - they are Silver Age heroes, which I read as Greater Darkness Heroes who led their people into the Silver Age elsewhere known as Gray Age. Quite a few of these heroes ended their mortal existence before Time, and reading the context of Sestarto and Panaxles, my original impression included them.

Sestarto was responsible for building the Ivory Plinth from Gouger's tusk. (Quite a way from Fairjowl, BTW...) That may have been his last creation, IIRC Panaxles slew the Artist because he felt he couldn't best that.

Now, Sestarto's Needle is quoted as the Dawning center of the Aramites. One of the stories needs to be rewritten...

I can live with limestone, but I find the limestone everywhere approach sort of boring, and it makes for comparatively bad agricultural land everywhere around. And we have only Valind's Loess soil to mitigate the bad fertility of limestone.
