I'm sure this theme happens someplace. Other places won't have it.

Melisande (I'll add my voice for a name change) is supposed to be his lover, not his year wife. That's Scathach the Iron Shrew, current stead-mistress of Whitewall.

Perceived as such, both by herself and the Lunars. Broyan might well disagree.

I think that Whitewall is a lot less affected than the rest of Heortland.

Prior to mid-1620 the Heortlanders have to prepare for Fazzur's invasion, one way or the other. Afterwards they might get involved with Whitewall.
