Let's not get too caught up in the physics of the Bat or we'll expose the thing for the impossibility it is:-) I mean after all something that big that can fly? Yet only moves as fast as a horse? Basically we're talking MGF here. Sure the crash will shake the foundations but it doesn't have to cause earthquake damage unless the story demands it.
