One question general background questions I've had about the area is
"How many clans are still darkness oriented?" Was Tarkalor's victories
and the subsequent settling of scores an effective round of "ethnic
cleansing" or are there a few "dark clans" still in the area? I don't
necessarily mean KL, ZZ and the whole Dark Tribe because the Kitori
scratch that itch. I'm thinking more of a Torkani-esque clan with AA
instead of the Big O. Or they're content with Troll overlords because
Heort was fine with it and Arkat ordered it. Maybe they have darkness
friendly subcults of Orlanth (unlike Desemborth). Or they are just
Troll friends like the Voroni were in sartar_rising.
This ties in a bit to the siege because any pro-darkness clan is going
to be whipping boys to the Stormies but that will change when a Lunar
army is encircling Whitewall. Darkness skills means they won't like
Tatius. I'd imagine that they'd make great smugglers and/or spys. And
politically they'd try to secure a better lot for themselves.
Anyone thought much about this before? Is there a GAG/consensus about this?
