I agree. It looks as though as early as 1620 that they regarded the city as lost. And why not? Only a fool would conclude that there was much hope. When Whitewall fell the defenders were gone. I think that it is much more likely they moved with other plans. I am almost certain they realised the significance of Whitewall and new something of the plot for the RM temple by Old Wind. As Jeff said, Kallyr had to survive!

Do we know if II is going to publish a scenario around the battle of Penel?
