Pretty much a caravan guards' stopover with a chapel. While Whitewall never was directly on the main trade route into the Pass, it is close enough even to the River to make it sort of viable. Think of pilgrims stations in muslim Palestine. Ironically, it could have been Stygian Arkati who attended...
