Technically, nothing is canonical unless it is published under the Issaries trademark. That being said, the Gwandorsaga is a game set in the Hero Wars - some of it has been adopted into Issaries products (concept use) and some of it would not be. It was played out before we knew about the Fimbulwinter, the Boat Rising, and a host of other new developments. In short, it is a great source of ideas but it is not "canonical".
