> That's a great conspiracy theory but it's just that. It bears no relation to what actually happened. But discussion of that is between Jamie and Moon Designs and not for gossip on this list. People seem to be making up a lot of fatuous nonsense and proclaiming it as truth. I think it says more about thier hang-ups than anything else. The fact that you believe that there is some attempt to 'silence' Trotsky or put him on the back-burner for vanity projects is pretty sad Rob.

Rob:
I think you are putting words in my mouth Ian, and I find your tone is unnecessarily snippy.

My view is just on what I see as an outsider. Remember I am not in any Gloranthan circles and Trotsky is one of the last Gloranthan folk I spoke to, probably 4 years ago and his first book was finished. Why isn't it out? Its a fair question, but yes, not for this list.

There you ago again. Be clear, I had no idea you even worked on Heortland. And for what its worth seeing as you say I infer 'you are crap', I enjoyed your work on Redcow, which informed and expanded on the excellent TR. If you choose to make it personal and into some sort of flame war is your choice, but was not my intent.

FWIW I re-iterate my albeit subjective opinion that the evolution of Heortland, by Greg, Jeff or whoever into 'more of the same' is just a little bit dull.

Cheers, Rob
