There must be at least two - I can't see how Argrath White Bull and Argrath of Pavis are the same. See KoS p.177 "Argrath [of Pavis] heard about the Battle of Corflu". And the descrption of the siege of Pavis makes it pretty clear Argrath of Pavis not leading the besiegers.

That's one possile intrepretation, but far from the only. KoS does not (nor do I think it was ever intended to) give a definitive story - it's part of a skeleton for you to build your own story around.
