Well, according to the old legends, Lodril attacked a Chaos entity (maybe Krarsht) when he was still a Sky God. That's a major anti-Chaos act, which should be celebrated. He also destroyed a Chaos army in the Footprint by attacking from below as a volcano. Both of these acts helped to preserve the world.

As god of farmers, I would suggest a myth about the creation of the first plough. There's a world-changing event! I'd like to haul in some myth about Lodril managing to find or trick Sky horses into being willing to draw the plough, but realistically, you're probably using oxen. I'm assuming that because a) horse collars are often considered too advanced for much of Glorantha, and b) you're in horse-hating Prax.

The Brotherhood of the Invisible Spear (see the link below) will undoubtedly have some very secret rituals during Sacred Time.

Lodril is also well known to have sired many children. Any chance that some of your settlers claim him as an ancestor? In which case, revering him as the loving father who preserved your families through the Darkness is part of your ceremonial duty. Giving sacrifices of food and fire would signify your remembrance of your own survival.

I would also imagine that he's celebrated for being the father of the Lowfires: Mahome the Hearth Fire, Gustbran the Smith and Oakfed the Cleansing Fire. The first two are necessary to civilisation, while Oakfed is one of those good-to-have-him-when-you-need-him types.
