I wouldn't call it fundamentalism. The Lhankor Mhy cult does not have a text which spells out the good Old Ways which can be a foundation document for the rest of the Orlanthi priests and god-talkers.

A lot of these god-talkers, powerful initiates and devotees simply embody their god. When the guy with the hero-light and winds whipping around him says "Orlanth wants this" people are likely to believe it since that hero is - at least to some extent - an embodiment Orlanth. The idea that the gods speak through their worshipers and god-talkers is widely acknowledged by the Orlanthi.
