I think you may be mis-remembering; I liked the earlier versions of the system! Having said which, I *have* written for game systems I didn't like before (HarnMaster Barbarians, and the unpublished City of Shiran), so I think I can remain fairly neutral about doing so. I don't know whether I'd want to do that now, though (seriously: I don't know... no decisions either way as yet, and there's not much point making one until at least LotW1 is out). But its more a question of whether Rick et. al. would even want to ask me under the circumstances, given that I haven't really been quiet about it. Plus, it's kind of different if I'm putting up me actual cash, rather than just writing for something :)
