Sartar: Kingdom of Heroes is going into final art production next week (after receiving some heavy duty editing - it is not easy editing more than 220,000 words!).

For people who are wondering "is this just a reprint of Thunder Rebels and Storm Tribe?" the answer is emphatically: NOT AT ALL!!!

The vast majority of this book contains material that has never been seen in print before. The character and clan creation materials are completely new. So is the Orlanthi religion section, information on the neighboring peoples, and the 70+ page campaign arc. The major Orlanthi cults are completely rewritten to work with the new HeroQuest Core Rules. The cult of Ernalda has been completely rewritten to be player friendly (instead of the dull and player unfriendly goddess presented in Thunder Rebels). Other cults have gotten a major overhaul and rewrite. Tons of new information on the Lunar Occupation, the tribes of Sartar, the royal house of Sartar, and so on. Old material is primarily limited to bits taken from long out of print sources (such as the organization of the Lunar Provincial Army or the history of Sartar).

Most importantly, this is a stand-alone book. It is written under the assumption that the owner has only the HeroQuest Core Rules. With this book, you have everything you need to start your own epic campaign in Dragon Pass - and even get a campaign arc bigger than any of the Sartar Rising books that have your players at the center of the story.

Plus there are tons of new maps, new art, and just lots and lots of new info. All in one book.

I think you all are going to enjoy this one!
