Heat is not a Core Rune. One of our goals in designing the new Gloranthan magic rules is to limit the number of Core Runes to a manageable number - 5 elemental runes, 8 power runes, 4 common condition runes, and however many unique lesser runes are needed to flesh out a specific setting.

The version of Lodril presented (Earth, Disorder, and Fertillity) is the widespread cult in Dara Happa. The cult Veskarthan is not the same thing as the Dara Happan Lodril and may well have different runes. After all, the God Learners were not always right.
