Always be cautious about precisely equating Lodril and Veskarthan. The God Learners thought (wrongly) that Lodril was part of an ancient and expansive Veskarthan cult (FWIW, Palangio did the reverse and thought the Veskarthan cultists were just savage Lodrili peasants). Apparently the GLers had several decades of debate regarding which name was correct: Lodril or Veskarthan. Far away on Jrustela, the Holy Council grew tired of the debate and voted for "Lodril".

A surprising amount of the monomyth can be attributed to fatigue on the part of the Holy Council, weary of the debate between the Stone and the Gardener.
