But for a culture living in a lands of heavy snowfall, and all the winter themes, I think northeners make a lot of sense as Heortlings.
Germans, Scandinavians, Scots...
Sun worshippers should be more tanned.
Not that the Heortlings will look like pale indoors types like me. Even finns get pretty brown and leathery with enough outdoors exposure,
