The Dawn is not a particularly recognized event in the East Isles. The Vithelan sun (Maluraya) did not go out, so there was no Darkness. The Sky was invaded by Herespur and his crpny Akorgat in the war which ended the Demigod Cycle though. This happened sometime during the Genertelan Grey Age.

That said, some East Islanders say that there was a subtle difference in the sun at the Dawn, with a number of explanations, for example that the sun god reached Liberation and was replaced by another one.
