Is it just 'gastronomy', or do ghouls leave bodies for a while because they are waiting for their souls to complete the journey to the Courts of Silence?

Difference between ogres and ghouls:

For me the difference is that ogres like their food fresh (so they are likely to kill for their food, and eat the fresh body), while ghouls also eat older, even rotten, corpses (and when they kill their future food, they tend to store it away until it starts rottingk, and eat it then).

But that is my Glorantha.
