Back in the Mesozoic, Crocodiles were a surprisingly diverse group (my "Porlaso crocodile" is based on a real croc that actually had flippers and tail flukes), and, scary as they are now, they used to be worse! All grist to the mill, especially (IMO) in Pameltela.
