Even if they are not necessarily true in your Glorantha*, there's probably someone who believes it might be.

Sure. It's just the agonized convoluted attempts to interpret the fragmentary information in very literal ways that seem a bit much. It seems to be a limiting process rather than an expansive one.
But as someone else said, I think the more you try to pin down the details of Arkat and Nysalor, the more you lose sight of what they did and what were.
