> Ah, I misunderstood the meaning of "diet". It was an assembly set in youf land.
Not surprising you don't get a bad pun in a foreign language, it is of course a takeoff on the Diet of Worms (a very nice city I visited after Eternal Con this year).

Here are some of the player goals:
Dara Happa
Remain Independent
Get help against Darjiin
Expand into Saird, or at least keep it as a buffer state
Vestantes
Expand into Ralios
Convert others to your way
Keep Koroltes tribe off the Council
Dragonewts
[I believe their goals were randomized, and switched every turn]
Be at peace
Be at war
Befriend the God Learners
Break up the Council
Have a Hunting & Waltzing Emperor
Have a seat on the Council
Oppose the Kordros tribe in every way possible
Prevent the War Dragons from being used
Remove parts of the Empire that don’t worship properly (e.g. the Golden Horse Tribe)
I know we played with a map, though I don't remember if that was at all formalized. Exactly how the Vestantes could get the Empire to expand into Ralios, I don't recall. I think it did happen in either the playtest or the convention run.
I also not sure how the God Learners were a part of this. They were a threat to the Only Old One, but a lure to Delecti and the Pure Horse People.
