Malkioni "saints" or "Ascended Masters" (which actually conveys what they are better) are not gods. Think of them like Hindu saints or Bodhisattva instead of Catholic saints and you'll have less difficulties. Some still teach in the Otherworld if you know where to go.

As an aside, Malkioni monotheism acknowledges the gods as the creations of the Invisible God, as described in the Xeotam Dialogues. So when a Malkioni wizard goes to the Otherworld, they encounter gods and spirits and so forth. They just aren't approaching it from the same way as theists.
