Well, it is quite a different emphasis, the restoration of Yelm being Orlanth's decision and a result of his heroic quest ("Oh, and we worked some stuff out while I was there") vs. Yelm "summoning" Orlanth ("Yeah, he probably had to walk") to apologize for being wrong.
