Compared to terrestrial earth, how much better/bountiful is Gloranthan Agrarian Produce?

He talks about 14th Century France being able to support 100 people per square mile. Would Glorantha be twice that. The Guide is currently being developed showing the pop spread of urban & rural, it would be good to know the % of land used for agriculture.
The 18 Tribes of Sartar total 180k. The land area of this I estimate at 120 x 180 = 21,600 Sq Miles
Supporting 200 people per square mile, gives us about 4.2% agrarian land, so there is plenty of forrest about for hidden EWF fortresses etc etc.
It's certainly not like rural UK, France now.
