Things continue as before, and Morgan Le Fay destroys most of the knights. Volume I runs eight issues, with the next volume set to begin in a few months. (It has, however, been delayed for over a year now.) _Knights of the Pendragon_ (Marvel-UK) the Green Knight (an earth spirit) and the Pendragon force have infused various people to stop the ecology destroying Bane. Includes many Arthurian themes including The Grail, several of the knights and a mysterious sword. The series ran 18 issues, and has since been replaced by Pendragon II. The first series was very good, while the second was mostly uninteresting. _Mage: the Hero Discovered_ (Comico) Kevin Matchstick is evidently an Arthur reincarnation, as he slowly discovers with the help of Mirth (the Fisher King), and battles the Umbra Sprite. A Mage interlude (Mage II is pending) appeared in Grendel #16-18. The whole run has been collected into three volumes by Starblaze graphics. Mage II may be released in the next few years. _Merlin_ (Adventure) _The Mists of Avalon_ (Eclipse) upcoming adaptation of the MZB novel. _Prince Valiant_ (comic strip) A comic strip set in the Arthurian times which has been running for over fifty years. The best issue of All-Star Squadron is his origin issue, somewhere between #55 and #72. _Avengers_ #228ish (Marvel) Avengers and new member the Black Knight go to extra-dimensional Avalon, where they battle the monstrous Fomor. The Black Knight is a decendent of Sir Percy (not Percival) of the Round Table, and his sword is cursed. Black Knight and this Avalon have appeared in various other Marvel books. _Black Knight_ #1-4 (Marvel) more with the Black Knight. _Brave and the Bold_ #<75 (DC) the Silent Knight; another Arthurian knight. _Dr. Strange_ #1-4 (Marvel) another Arthur reincarnation, with formerly dead members of the Defenders super-hero team inhabiting the bodies of live people to form Dragon Circle. _Elementals_ (Comico) super-heroine Morningstar is married to Merlin Ambrose, ruler of extradimensional Avalon. _Iron Man_ #250 (Marvel) Iron Man and Dr. Doom travel to the future, where they meet Merlin and a child Arthur reincarnation.
